Basic Shiksha Parishad School’s Holiday Calender 2015

Basic Shiksha Parishad Uttar Pradesh has controls over primary and junior schools in the state. This is the governing authority of all BSPUP affiliated schools. Education pattern, syllabus, teaching and other staff, exams and other activities are governed by this government organization.

Basic Shiksha Parishad now released holiday calender 2015 for all Prathmik Vidhyalaya (Primary School) and Uchcha Prathmik Vidhyalaya (Junior School). School principle are advised to follow below instruction for class timing and holidays for year-2015.

Class Time Table:

Classes in primary (1st to 5th) and Junior (6th to 8th) schools will be scheduled from 9am morning to 3pm evening, through out the year. Lunch break must be given between 12pm-12:30pm. This year board decided to conduct class on a similar time irrespective of summer/winter season.

Other Holidays:

  1. Summer Vacation: from 21st May to 30th June 2015.
  2. Except from above holidays, DM of respective district have power to announce 2 holidays in an year. There are no holidays for local festivals. No officer, other than DM, is permitted to announce a holiday in any condition.
  3. Holiday on Muslim festivals can be adjusted by a day.
  4. Female only Holidays: Hari Talika, Teej and Karwachauth holidays are valid for only female teachers/students.
  5. There will only be education holiday for Independence Day, Republic Day and Gandhi Jayanti. Teachhers and students must come to school for National Festival celebration.

Teachers are advised to properly open schools at the above mentioned time table.
