State Bank of India (SBI) inviting online application from eligible candidates for filling up 2393 Probationary Officer Posts in State Bank of India (2015-16) across India. Candidates are requested to apply on-line through Bank’s website for the recruitment of P.O Job vacancies SBI Recruitment 2015.Candidates who wants to apply for these job vacancies should possess Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized. Candidates who wants to apply should be 21–30 years as on 01-04-2015.

Age Limit:

    earlier than 02.04.1985 and not later than 01.04.1994 (both days inclusive) as on 01-04-2015

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates who wants to apply for these job vacancies should have Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized.

Application Fee:

  • General/ OBC Category Candidates should have to pay Rs. 600/-
  • SC/ST/PWD/XS Category Candidates Need to Pay Rs. 100/-
  • Fee/Intimation charges once paid will NOT be refunded on any account nor can it be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

Selection Process:

  • Phase-I : Preliminary Examination: Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be
    conducted online. Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing passing marks to be decided by the Bank.
  • Phase – II: Main Examination: Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive
    Test for 50 marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online. Candidates will have to answer
    Descriptive test by typing on the computer. Immediately after completion of Objective Test, Descriptive Test will be administered.
    • Objective Test: The Objective Test of 2 hour duration consists of 4 Sections with 50 marks each (Total 200
      marks
    • Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test of 1 hour duration with 50 marks will be a Test of English Language
      (Letter Writing & Essay).
  • Candidates who have already appeared for the maximum number of chances permissible are not eligible to to
    apply. The number of chances will be counted from the examination held on 18.04.2010.
