Officers ( Scale-I,II & III ) and Office Assistant in RRBs

Regional Rural Banks(RRBs) were established under the provisions of an Ordinance passed on 26 September 1975 and the RRB Act. 1976 to provide sufficient banking and credit facility for agriculture and other rural sectors. There were five commercial banks, Punjab National Bank, State Bank of India, Syndicate Bank, United Bank of India and United Commercial Bank, which sponsored the regional rural banks. Earlier Reserve Bank of India had laid down ceilings on the rate of interest to be charged by these RRBs.

Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) invited application for the recruitment to the post Officers scale-I, Officers scale-II, Officers-III and Office Assistant (multipurpose) to filled the vacant position in RRBs.

Applicant must reads the instruction carefully which are discussed below. The last date to filling of online registration is 09 July,2014.

Age Limit:

  • Officers scale-I: Candidates age should be between 18 to 28 years i.e. applicant should be born between 3 June,1986 to 31 May,1996.
  • Officers scale-II: Applicant should be born between 3 June,1982 to 31 May,1993 i.e. age should be between 21 to 32 years.
  • Officers scale-III: Candidates age should be more than 21 years and less than 40 years will be eligible i.e. applicants will be born between 3 June,1974 to 31 May,1993.
  • Office Assistant (multipurpose): Applicants should be born between 2 June,1986 to 1 June,1996 and age should be 18 to 28 years.

Note: Age relaxation for others candidates will be applicable as per government rules.

Educational Qualification:

  • Officers scale-I: Applicant have Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry,Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy, Proficiency in local language and also have Computer knowledge or awareness will be an added qualification.
  • Officers scale-II: Candidates have Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
  • Officers scale-III: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having Degree/ Diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy. Minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institutions.
  • Office Assistant (multipurpose): Candidates have Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent, Essential Proficiency in local language and knowledge of computers skill.

Fees Required:

  • Candidate are required to pay Rs.600/-( six hundred only ) as a application fees/Intimation charges ( Payable from 18 June,2014 to 9 July,2014 ) through online payment by using net banking facilities and ( payable from 20 June,2014 to 14 July,2014 ) through offline payment by submit cash by cancelling challan form. (Both date are inclusive)RRBs

Procedure to Apply:

  • Candidates should carefully fill in the details in the On-Line Application at the appropriate places and click on the “SUBMIT” button at the end of the On-Line Application format.
  • The application form is integrated with the payment process can be completed by following the instructions. The payment can be made by using only Master/ Visa Debit or Credit cards or through Net Banking by providing information as asked on the screen.
  • In case candidates wish to pay fees/ intimation charges through the online payment after the upload of photograph and signature an additional page of the application form is displayed where in candidates may follow the instructions and fill in the respective details.
  • If the online transaction has been successfully completed a Registration Number and Password will be generated. Candidates should note their Registration Number and Password for future reference.
