IBPS CEW Clerks – V Exam Syllabus Details :

IBPS is going to conduct two stages online examinations ( Preliminary and Main) for Common Written Exam of 30,000 Bank CEW Clerk  Jobs. The Preliminary Exam consists English Language, Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability with the total 100 marks, and Main Exam consists Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General awareness, Computer Knowledge with total 200 marks.

IBPS Clerk Syllabus Details :

  • Preliminary Examination :
    • English Language : Basic knowledge of English Language. Homonyms, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence completion, Word formation and topic comprehension means deriving conclusion, Theme detection, Passage completion and the topic Rearrangement of passage, Spelling, Sentence and the Topic grammar means set of rules active passive voice, indirect direct speech and the topic General usage means phrases and idioms.
    • Numerical Ability : Numerical ability or Quantitative Aptitude paper will have 5 Multiple choice answers the inquiry in this choice may be focused around two subjects like as Arithmetic and Data Interpretation. Information (Data) Interpretation means visual diagrams, pie outlines, line charts and classification. Number crunching (Arithmetic) means root, average, ratio, time & work & separation, rate, benefit & loss, mixture, stocks & share, partnership, clocks, volume & surface area, height & distances, logarithms, permutation & combination, simple & compound interest, in equations & equations and probability.
    • Reasoning Ability : Verbal Reasoning ( Analogy, Odd Man out, Syllogism, Word Formation, Statement and Conclusions, Statement and Assumptions, Statement and Conclusions, Coding decoding, Blood relations, Alphabet test, Series test, Number, Ranking and Time Sequence, Direction sense test, Sitting arrangement, Decision making, Input output, Assertion and reasoning, Figure Series) .  Non Verbal Reasoning (Series test, Analogy, Odd figures, Miscellaneous test)
  • Main Examination:
    • Reasoning Ability : Symbols and their relationships, Arithmetical computation, Decision making, Verbal and figure classification, Verbal and non verbal. Analytical functions, Space visualization, Judgement, Problem solving, Discrimination, Arithmetical number series, Visual memory, Observation, Arithmetical reasoning, Relationship concepts, Difference, Analysis, Similarities, Analogies.
    • English Language : General grammar, Antonyms, Synonyms, Comprehension of a passage, Sentence completion, Vocabulary.
