West Bengal School Service Commission is the commission which conducts various recruitment exams to provide jobs for the posts of School Teacher. Higher Secondary Education with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate is the minimum educational required to apply for West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). There are two papers in this exam. Paper first I is for candidates who have applied for Class First I to Class Fifth V and Paper Second II is meant for Class Sixth VI to Class eighth VIII.

(TET), Teacher Eligibility Test will of 150 Marks. Questions will be Objective Multiple Choice Type (MCQ) and total time duration will be 1 hour 30 minutes. TET (Upper Primary Level) examination will be of objective type Multiple Choice Question (MCQ). There will be no negative marking.

  • Qualifying Marks: Minimum 50% marks.

TET will be 5 Subjects/ Sections in Papers. Each Section will have 30 Objective Multiple Type Questions carrying one marks each. The 5 subjects are:
